One craftsman, from slab to installation
Antonis Yiannakou runs a small marble and granite workshop in the Livadia Industrial Area of Larnaca. He measures, cuts, finishes and installs every job himself.
Every piece that leaves the workshop has passed through the same pair of hands. There is no sales office and no crew of subcontractors: you speak to Antonis, Antonis measures your space or your plot, and Antonis is the one on site when the stone is set.
The work divides into two worlds. On one side are memorials, graves and cemetery items, where the job is to honour a person and give a family something that will still stand, straight and clean, in fifty years. On the other are kitchens, staircases, fireplaces and bespoke pieces for homes and businesses, where the stone has to be beautiful and has to work every day.
The workshop keeps a stock of Greek and Italian marbles and of granites, and sources other stones to order. Cutting is done by machine where precision matters; edges, profiles, lettering and carving are finished by hand.
Antonis serves Larnaca and the whole of Cyprus, including the cemeteries of the wider Larnaca district.

Respect
In a cemetery, the work is quiet, tidy and on time. In a home, it is measured twice and fitted once.
Honesty about stone
Marble stains and scratches more easily than granite. You will hear that before you choose, not after.
One person, start to finish
The person who quoted the job is the person who installs it. Nothing is lost between them.
